Vans OTW collection brings back their staple Alomar model for Fall 2011. Don’t know about you, but in my humble opinion these shoes (kicks) are pretty dope.

I could tell you that they the Alomar is inspired by some other boot and infused with a modern, slimmed down high top design, but y’all already know that so whatevs..

Also in case you are color blind, they come in different colors, only earth tones though. And if you are color blind that last sentence didn’t help you at all because you don’t know what earth tone colors look like.

This shoe is considered to be one of the most rare and unique members of the french designers designers footwear collection. Whys that? Well it probably has to do with the fact that the shoe has real Swarovski Crystals covering most of it. Yea, real Crystals, you read that right.

O and girl, these only cost $2,495, so best be saving up.

I’ve always found Adidas shoes to be hit and miss, but there’s no denying that these babies are amazing.  The shoes carry a new suede spice coloring along with adidas’ iconic three stripes in bluebird-vapor. They’re the kind of shoe that you could wear everyday, but probably won’t, seeing as they’re definitely nicer then everyday kicks.  Seeing as I’ve pretty much owned a pair of Adidas shoes since I was like 7, I may just pick up a pair myself to walk the streets in.

I’ve never really thought of Vans as a shoe brand that I would actually wear.  I always sort of figured that they were more for the West Coast ’skater/stoner’ types, but recently I’ve seen a lot of their shoes that I would wear.  These, named The Pritchard, apparently feel like a skate shoe but can still be worn for a night out. Simple yet effective, the classic silhouette is outfitted in a denim wash (black) and waxed canvas (canteen and grey). All three feature pig leather sockliners, premium textile linings, EVA midsoles and waffle tread cupsoles with a faux heel.

So, looks like I was wrong, Vans ain’t just for the greasy skaters.

Can’t really be bothered to write anything about these shoes from Y-3 so I’ll just copy what someone else has said.

The avant-garde and athletic foundation of Y-3 continues to progress as the collaborative label presents the interesting Sala “Croc” this season. Inspired by the iconic indoor football boot, Sala’s low top silhouette is clad with scaled leather and comes with a tapered toe. Additional details such as a raised heel collar, black and white rubber sole and patent stripe branding completes the look.

Diesel, they’re Italian, have just released these Diesel Dragon sneakers which are actually pretty dope. I’m not really the biggest fan of Diesel, but with this shoe they’ve done good by me, not that that matters at all to them probably.

Anyways, the gold tone metal logo is classic Diesel and offers a nice contrast to the black leather and the metal studs. The overall result is a pair that you’ll want to rock every single day, well maybe not everyday, but most days.

During New York Fashion Week, footwear designer Alejandro Ingelmo presented his new mens footwear collection for Spring/Summer 2012. He presented a new range of low top and high top sneakers, as well as more casual footwear, which included brogue boots. And as per usual he polished off his collection with his own modern take on footwear.

And you know if Anna Wintour shows up to your show then you’re definitely doing something right.
