I just came across Tom Fords 2012 SS lookbook y’all. From what I can gather the message he and his marketing team is trying to convey is that if you wear Tom Ford’s clothes your life will be one giant orgy with models.
Sure his clothes are probably really expensive, but can you really put a price on fucking models 24/7? Nope.

So in case you are the only person who doesn’t know, the New Jersey Nets (NBA team) are moving to Brooklyn to become the Brooklyn Nets, from what I understand. The move is most likely is because Jay Z is part owner of the Nets and probably feels like he should move the team back to the hood that he once used to sell crack cocaine in…
Anyways, it seems as though the New Jersey Nets are going to get completely new jerseys for their move to Brooklyn, jerseys that will be designed by none other then the Jigga Man himself.
Well, at least we know the jerseys will be sick, as for the team, that remains to be seen…
Bringing some closure to questions that arose following yesterday’s announcement, Jay-Z will be teaming up with adidas to design updated uniforms for the 2012 NBA Brooklyn Nets. Adding to his resume, he will work with the sportswear label and other owners to create new logos, team colors and updated jerseys for the newly christened team. The team is set to kick off its first 2012-2013 season with an opening concert by Jay-Z at Brooklyn’s forthcoming Barclay’s Center.

People be talking, people be talking about Alexander Wang’s menswear collection which is now available at Barneys.
Here’s Wang talking to Simon Doonan about his collection, his inspiration behind it, and other shit like that…The only thing that I took away from this video is that Alexander Wang doesn’t use hair conditioner, surprising, don’t you think?

OMG Alexander Wang, like holy smokes, he’s soooo talented, like wowww….
Everyone in the fashion world loves Alexander Wang. And now it appears as though the head honchos of Christian Dior love him too because word on the street is that he may be up to replace alleged anti Semite John Galliano.
Don’t know for sure though, it’s just a rumor y’all.

I’m definitely not brave enough to join the military, plus I don’t think they’d have me anyways due to my lackadaisical work ethic, but if there is one thing I love it’s military inspired clothing. Clothing much like the WTAPS 2011 fall/winter “WAY OF LIFE” collection.
Just one look at these pieces, especially the jackets, with their military green color will have you looking and feeling like a badass.

Remember when you were a kid and your Mom bundled you up before you went out in the cold (unless your Mom was an asshole/drug addict/Casey Anthony)? Well, now you’re fucking old enough to dress yourself and you should be bundling up in one of these new jackets by new Tovar.
These jackets will keep you warm, fresh, and your steeze on point.
Click on over to Cool Hunting for these jackets and other looks from Tovar.

Kidult is some graffiti artist who has been going around graffitiing/vandalising high end luxury stores from NYC to Paris.
Anyways, looks like his latest target was Louis Vuitton’s Saint-Germain-des-Prés store. For some reason he just tagged it with the word ‘Yes’.
Not really what he means with the word ‘Yes’. Sort of think that it may have been the only three letter word he could think of and just decided to go with it. I can’t say for sure what Kidult is hoping to gain from grafitiing/vandalising these stores other then a probable fine and or a jail sentence when he gets caught. Until then though we will keep looking out for his next target.
Is Kidult awesome?
What is Kidult’s message?
Do you ‘get’ Kidult?
Is Kidult trying to be the next Banksy, but with considerably less talent?

Looks like Kanye West is really getting into this fashion thing. Harpers Bazaar Australia is reporting that Kanye will unveil a womens line in Paris on October 1. Here is the little blurb in Harpers Bazaar
Kanye West will unveil his first womenswear collection during Paris fashion week. The S/S 2012 collection will be shown as apart of the official schedule at 9.30pm on October 1, directly after Jean Paul Gauliter and Loewe, contrary to reports that West was going for a presentation-style format for key editors only. The looks are being kept under lock and key but we’re already getting excited for the most talked-about show of the season which, if it’s anything like its designer, is sure to be larger than life.
Page Six is now reporting that West has tapped Givenchy creative director and Watch the Throne cover designer, Riccardo Tisci, as his mentor. The drama builds just like a well-crafted instrumental. Stay tuned.

Levi’s is some denim company that almost went out of business in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Back then Levi’s wasn’t considered ‘cool’ by kids, but now it seems as though all that has changed.
Since 2007 Levi’s has started making money again due to releasing lines that seem to ‘resonate’ with the youth of today. Anyways, looks like they just released a ‘New Modern’ line that is inspired by the intricate works back in the early 1900s, the range comes with a strong attention to detail that’s evident to the elements applied. The “New Modern” line offers an outstanding choice of straight cut jeans and slim fit jackets, all made from stretch fabrics

Yohji Yamamoto is a Japanese designer who is currently collaborating with Adidas and in turn is creating an awesome workwear inspired line for Spring/Summer 2012.
I’m totally loving the plaid patterns, especially since they accent the layered look so well…
